Asphalt Laying Procedure

Subgrade Improvement

Subgrade Improvement

Works We prepare and compact the native soil, ensuring a stable and uniform foundation before adding any road layers.

Subbase Layer

Subbase Layer

An insulating layer of crushed aggregate is placed over the subgrade to provide structural strength and improve drainage.

Roadbase Layer

Roadbase Layer

This is the primary load-bearing layer, using high-quality aggregates designed to distribute traffic loads and prevent pavement deformation.

Road Oil Spraying

Road Oil Spraying

We apply a prime coat (road oil) to bind the roadbase, seal it from water, and promote adhesion for the first asphalt layer.

Asphalt Base Course Paving

Asphalt Base Course Paving

The first layer of hot mix asphalt is paved, providing the main structural strength for the pavement's flexible design.

Asphalt Milling

Asphalt Milling

Asphalt Milling (cold planing) is a sustainable, cost-effective, and efficient rehabilitation process used to remove the top layer of deteriorated asphalt pavement. It is a vital part of road maintenance, allowing for resurfacing without the need for full-depth reconstruction.

Tack Coat

Tack Coat

A light application of asphalt emulsion (tack coat) is sprayed to ensure a strong, permanent bond between pavement layers.

Asphalt Wearing Course Paving

Asphalt Wearing Course Paving

The final, smooth top layer of asphalt is paved, designed to handle direct traffic and resist all weather conditions.

Finished Surface

Finished Surface

The newly paved surface is compacted and finished, ensuring it meets all required smoothness, density, and quality standards.

Concrete Mix Products

Sand Asphalt

Designed to use for tank bases.

W 20 (TM 5)

TM-5 (20mm Gabbro): All-weather wearing course for high-stress highways and runways.

L 10

10mm gabbro light surface course specially designed as surface layer for tennis courts / foot paths.

BRM 14

Superior asphalt mix designed with 14mm aggregates and Performance Grade Binder; for durable, rut-resistant pavement.

Cold Asphalt

Cold Asphalt is used for patching, pothole repairs, and temporary surfacing. It remains workable at ambient temperatures and hardens over time through compaction and curing.

Red Asphalt

Protection Layer for bridge deck. Specially designed with polymer modified binder and red pigments.

B 28

Base course Asphalt with 28mm aggregates placed beneath the surface layer to provide strength, load distribution, and durability to the pavement.

Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA)

SMA: Gap-graded, polymer-modified mix resists deformation under heavy traffic.

ATSC-20

Surface course HMA with 20mm aggregates and performance grade binder, designed to provide a smooth, durable, and skid-resistant surface capable of supporting aircraft loads and weather exposure.
