Full-time role based in Bahrain for a General Manager overseeing the Asphalt Surfacing and Contracting Division. The General Manager will lead and manage the division's resources, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality objectives. Responsibilities include overseeing operations, managing project timelines, budgets, and the workforce, maintaining quality assurance for materials and end products, and collaborating with senior management to develop strategies for division growth. The role also involves fostering client relationships, optimizing production levels, and ensuring compliance with regulations and contracts. - Civil Engineering, QS, or Asphalt and Paving Diploma/Degree through Derby University. - Extensive experience in Asphalt Production, Road Construction, and Surfacing operations, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices. - Proven leadership capabilities, including workforce management, team collaboration, and strategic problem-solving skills. - Proficient in quality assurance, materials testing, and compliance with regulatory and operational standards. - Experience with financial budgeting, cost estimations, and production planning is essential. - Strong communication, organizational, and relationship management skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders effectively. - Previous managerial experience in the Middle East is beneficial. - At least 15 years of experience, of which 5-7 are in a senior Manager role.

In-charge of the control of quality standard in the production of hollow core slabs and precast concrete units and ensures that this quality standard is met. - Reporting to the General Manager (Precast Division). - Ensures the quality control methods and procedures are strictly enforced. - Sets and establish quality standard for materials and products. - Exercises quality control over concrete and finished products. - Prepare and maintains Quality control records. - Reports and takes disposition on non-confirming materials and products. - Ensure the calibration of all testing equipment and devices. - Assesses and recommends materials for use in repairs and retouching works, production and erection. - Conducts lead testing for hollow core slabs. - Conducts site inspection for HCS and Precast jobs in progress. - Liaising and coordinating with production planning, production and erection personnel whenever required. - Employee should strictly follow up policy and procedures of Bahrain HSE laws. The Employee’s working hours shall be as required to carry out his full responsibilities and duties. - Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field, demonstrating a strong technical foundation. - Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in the Precast industry, showcasing a deep understanding of the business. - Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale Precast projects, demonstrating project management expertise. - Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze financial statements, manage budgets, and drive profitability. - Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop high-performing teams. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers. - Comprehensive knowledge of ready mix design, and quality control procedures, highlighting technical proficiency. - Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements, showcasing a commitment to operational excellence.
